Description

A low water usage plant growing to approx. 3′ tall x 3′ wide with green branches and yellow flowers in the summer. This is the plant that is usually seen with sagebrush as bright yellow massings. It is widely distributed across the western United States. Valued by native people for a variety of uses. Pollinators love the vibrant yellow flowers which turn a pale yellow for all winter long interest. Other common names are Douglas, Green, or Mountain Low Rabbitbrush.
