Annual Conservation Poster Contest

If you have, or know, a 5^th or 6^th grade student who loves art and cares about conservation, we invite him or her to participate in the WGCD/CACD (Colorado Association of Conservation Districts) Poster Contest: Watersheds – Our Water, Our Home.

All schools within the West Greeley boundaries of service are being invited to participate. If your 5^th or 6^th grader is home-schooled or they haven’t heard about this opportunity in school, please see the Instructions and Entry Form attached here and on the education portion of our Web site at:

All submissions must follow the listed criteria and be to the WGCD office at 4302 W. 9^th St. Rd., Greeley, CO 80634 before 4 p.m. on Friday, October 5^th. The winning artists placing 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd from each grade level will be recognized and honored with their parents at the West Greeley Conservation District’s Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on Thursday, November 8^th at Island Grove Regional Park – Event Center. They will each receive a cash prize and the two first place posters will be submitted to the state competition on November 29^th.
